Spirit Passages is a joint practice of C. Allie Knowlton, MSW, LCSW, DCSW, Psychotherapist, Teacher of Shamanism and Shamanic Healer & Evelyn C. Rysdyk, Teacher of Shamanism, Shamanic Healer, Sacred Artist and author of Modern Shamanic Living. Spirit Passages is a joint practice of C. Allie Knowlton, MSW, LCSW, DCSW, Psychotherapist, Teacher of Shamanism and Shamanic Healer & Evelyn C. Rysdyk, Teacher of Shamanism, Shamanic Healer, Sacred Artist and author of Modern Shamanic Living. The purpose of Spirit Passages is to give individuals the tools to become conscious participants in their own healing, health and spiritual evolution. Since 1991, Allie and Evelyn have taught workshops on the shamanic journey practice and advanced shamanism across the United States and into Canada. Allie & Evelyn feel very fortunate to be able to help many hundreds of people through their private shamanic healing practice. This practice has grown tremendously through referrals from doctors, psychotherapists and other healthcare professionals. Healings include powerful, traditional shamanic methods such as soul retrieval, extraction, power animal retrieval, psychopomp, shamanic counseling, and spirit depossession. In addition to this work, Allie & Evelyn have developed a unique way to access the physical body's hidden wisdom. This Shamanic Inner Body Healing Work, is an excellent way to locate and release unconscious blocks and resistances to one's process as well as addressing physical symptoms.
Both women have studied with Sandra Ingerman, LMFT,LPCC and Michael Harner, Ph.D. noted anthropologist and founder of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and are graduates for the Foundation's Three-Year Program in Advanced Shamanism and Shamanic Healing. Additionally, they are members of Sandra Ingerman's shamanic teacher alliance. |
They have also studied with indigenous teachers from around the world including Peruvian shaman, Fredy "Puma" Quispe Singona, Tuvan shaman AiChurek, Nepalese shaman, Bhola N. Banstola and Grandfather Mikail Duvan, last male shaman of the Ulchi People of Siberia, to name a few.
Allie & Evie's passion for healing the Earth and all of her precious children have lead them down the path of becoming Medicine for the Earth Teachers as well as expanding their studies of healing methods both ancient and new. Toward that end, they are founding practitioner members of True North, a unique, multi-disciplinary integrative health center in Falmouth, Maine which combines the best complementary healing methods with cutting edge, conventional medicine. It is also where they have their private shamanic healing practice. Evelyn & Allie are the executive editors of the ecospiritual e-magazine, Spirit Living and on the editorial board of the Society for Shamanic Practitioner’s The Journal of Shamanic Practice. Interviewed in the recently published book, Traveling Between the Worlds: Conversations with Contemporary Shamans, Allie and Evie are included among the most influential teachers and writers of shamanism in the world today.
